DiDa Ritz, cast member of the upcoming Season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race on LogoTV, and Patrick “Daatrick” Andrews, 1/3 of queer electro fuck band DAAN, team up and work it out in this new video set to Amanda Blank’s “Make-Up.” Set in a dance studio, these two fierce performers break a sweat while serving major attitude both on the floor and for the camera. Directed by Dan Stermer and edited by Tobin Del Cuore, of TDC productions, “Make-Up” is an up-tempo, booty popping, hair whipping, gum chewing, dance party the house down.
Ritz and Andrews have a long standing relationship as collaborative performers, thriving on the mix of their dance styles and unique looks. The video was a reunion of sorts for the performers and director, who have collaborated many times in the past for live performance, but never for video.
Looking ahead, Tobin Del Cuore and Dan Stermer are working on a documentary focusing on the art of drag and the life of queens which features DiDa Ritz. As a part of the collaboration, they will be producing more short dance/music videos for internet viewing throughout the rest of the year.
Tune in January 30 to catch DiDa Ritz on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4 on LogoTV.
You can catch Patrick Daatrick at the next DAAN performance.
And look out for more exciting videos from TDC Productions.
