F.A.M.E. Hosts Auditions for First Annual Fundraiser
CHICAGO, IL | December 2011 – President and Founder of Lily’s Talent, Lily Liu.
F.A.M.E. will be teaming up with the Metropolis School of the Performing Arts for F.A.M.E.’s First Annual Fundraiser on Thursday, Mar. 8, 2012. In addition to performances from Metropolis students, submissions will be accepted from all local dancers, singers, slam poets, and musicians from ages 8-40 years, to perform at one of 2012’s hottest events until February 15, 2012 at 12pm.
Submission requirements are one
-Link of a 60 second video showcasing the talent
-150 words or less artists statement:
*Who you are
*What is your most important goal as performer
*Why you would be the best candidate to perform at FAME’s first event.
F.A.M.E. provides tools for artists, including:
– Educational workshops
F.A.M.E. is able to offer support by funds recieved through donations, sponsorships, and proceeds from the 2-4 benefit events F.A.M.E. holds each year.

With the mission of constructing a solution for struggling artists with extraordinary talent, F.A.M.E. provides the necessary
tools to make their dreams a reality. By offering scholarships to artists in need, 2-4 benefit events and educational workshops, which propose tips for artists to navigate the entertainment business, F.A.M.E. allows artists to continue to develop their artistic careers.
This year’s proceeds will be supporting the tuition assistance program at the non-profit Metropolis School of the Performing Arts in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Metropolis, a professional theatre with a community focus, is now home to Chicagoland’s largest suburban performing arts school which offers drama, dance and music students extra-curricular arts classes and performance opportunities, a community of friends with similar interests, an accepting environment, and the opportunity to progress to an elite level within the performing arts.
