PFLAG Mom and QU Contributor Makes Plea for The Qu
“To me, it’s important to be true to yourself. It doesn’t matter what other people say or do; just be you. That’s what The Qu represents; a world in which everyone is free to be themselves. And I’m honored to be a part of that.”
Marcia Prichason is local PFLAG activist and columnist for The Qu released her own video plea to expand LGBTQ media platform. The Qu (www.thequ.co) recently launched an ambitious Indiegogo campaign as part of an ongoing effort to increase queer visibility in the media. With a goal of $10,000, the LGBT website will use the funds to transition into a complete production company with paid staff, original web-series and on-going events.
Marcia has become a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQ community and her weekly installment of “Marcia’s Law,” is The Qu’s most popular column. Having one left-handed son and one gay son has paved Marcia’s perspective on modern culture and politics that she lovingly shares with our readers. Her honesty and mom like approach to “telling it like it is” is what keeps her dedicated readers wanting more. From Mitt Romney to Anita Backer she tackles inequality one week at a time.
